South to Mexico City
Popisuje cestu po Mexiku, slavnou minulost i současnost. Uvádí i některé zajímavosti:
Flowers for chickens: Gold gives way to green as pickers harvest marigold blossoms in a field near Los Mochis. The petals contain a high concentration og yellow compound called xanthophyll. Dried, powdered, and mixed with chicken feed, the flowers impart yellow glow to the fowl´s fat and to egg yolks - an apperance pleasing to housewives. But the concentrate adds no nutritive value.

The Age of Sail Lives On at Mystic
By Alan Villiers
For centuries the men of Mystic built ships - schoners, whalers, clippers - and sailed them to earth´s far corners. Then steam overtook the windships, and one by one they died. Alarmed, three citizens formed the Marine Historical Association in 1929, and out of it grew the living maritime museum called Mystic Seaport. To its site came gifts of small craft and schooners, anchors and heirlooms. Today more than 400,000 persons a year come to rediscover a glorious era.
